BMW 5 Series E39 - BMW 525d excessive diesal smell - bigmennie

Hi my bmw e39 525d i think smells abit excessive of that typical diesal smell ya get from all modern common rail engines, the car runs fine it just smells abit strong dont know weather this is down to it being a big 6 cylinder engine i dont know.

Can someone help me please.

Hi its comeing from the exhaust its the fumes comeing out of the exhaust actually i know all diesals have a smell but it just seems abit ecessive really strong sometimes i also use bp ultimate as well not cheap diesal.
