Micheldever Tyres, when to visit - Vin {P}
I'm popping up there for a new pair of tyres tomorrow. Does anyone have any idea of the best time of day to go? Last time I went was Christmas eve last year, so no queue, but I know it's normally different...I queued for ages one Friday afternoon.

When I last spoke to them they suggested arriving at opening time during the week. Like you I cheated and went along when England were playing in the world cup - it was empty!

I recently made a couple of visits a week apart, both about mid-morning, both weekday. I was second in the queue first time, sixth or seventh the second time. Can't even say the weather affected it as it was pouring the second time. Also bear in mind you have to queue again for wheel alignment.
