Hi, my wife's VW has just started to make a noise when reversing especilly at an angle. I think it may be a cv joint worn. It's on the offside. Not sure if it's the outer or inner joint. I 've tried local car parts places but they reckon you can only buy the complete shaft with both joints. seems a very expensive way of doing it. Can any tell me if this is true. Also is it a fairly easy job to do. Thanks.
