toyota prius2 - Prius road noise and tyres - lochleven

Has anyone experience of alternative tyres to Bridgestone potenza. Some road surfaces a very noisy and so I am looking for something quieter.

I've always found Goodyear much quieter than Firestone(Bridgestone).Presumably it depends on the interface between the tread pattern and the road surface.

The Michelin Primacy HP is supposedly one of the quietest tyres available. On my Mazda, when the Bridgestone Turanza's had worn out, I replaced them with Michelin Primacy HP's. They were quieter and lasted well.
