A friend of mine has a 2002 Skoda Fabia 1.4 mpi with 85000 miles on it. It was used by her husband as a commpany car from new, he now has a new car. She mainly does short journeys with the occasional longer trip and the car is now developing a problem. When she slows for a junction etc, the engine often cuts out but restarts again instantly using the key. The electronic engine management light regularly comes on whether it stalls or not. Can you shed any light on what might be the problem?
