micra ally '98 - intermittant wiper operation - bootman

my car wipers work ok in normal and fast mode, but when delayed wipe is selected they do one wipe and stop permenantly. I have changed the wiper motor without altering the operation. can you help please

There is usually a relay that controls the intermittant wipe - just unplug and replace. Don't ask me where it is on a Micra - in my old Cavalier it was in the fusebox under dash.
