Hi all, my golf gti mk 3 (97) has a problem with the front wipers, the intermittent works fine but wont work at all when i put then on constant, have played about with the stalk but with no luck, do i need to replace the stalk or is it possible to strip it down or something.

Also the drivers side elec window wont work (passenger side fine) but for some strange reason if i turn the key in the door to far both the windows come down then turn the key the other way and they close, could this just be a faulty switch in the car
