VW Passat 2009 2.0 Petrol - High pitched noise - III

Hi There,

Two weeks ago I purchased a 2009 VW Passat 2.0 Petrol and have a couple of issues.

When I get to 50mph in 6th gear I get a high pitched noise under slight acceleration. On top of this and it could be related there is a slight vibration at higher speeds which I though would be wheel balance since there are 4 new tyres. The car is going back to the garage to check a couple of things along with the vibration I just wondered if anyone had a similar experience?

The car has done 23,000 miles.

Hello,The car is going back to the garage for other checks thats inportant make sure everything is fine whatever they do.The vibration could be the tyres 4 new tyres fitted they should have balanced the tyres when fitted.Any unusual noise again let the garage know, you only had the car for two weeks.Make sure when the garage have done the other things you mentioned that evrything is fine.You can always take a mechanic with you after repairs for a run in the car and make sure everything sounds ok.Milage no problem just run in.
