ANY: Insulting replies - Harry Boy

mickyh7 has a point methinks, yet another insulting and patronising reply from Andy B. Yes people are entitled to their view but as you say there is a correct way and a wrong way. You seem to have set yourself up as a bit of a guru with firm views about just about everything (Jack of all trades comes to mind, with no intended insult) Perhaps "Rubbish" should be censored in the same way as scraapped.

As Voltaire once said "Doubt is not a pleasant state of mind but but certainty is absurd"

He also said " The secret of being a bore is to tell everything"

Andy & Gordon less of the "rubbish" please and some constructive comment, remembering "less is more" anon.

Me, I'm an expert on Rolls......sleep tight.

Which thread are you talking about, Stu? I can't find it.

Edit - sorry, found it on technical. Agree absolutely - this was a straightforward question asking about VW radios and called only for helpful replies, even if these disagree.

Particularly (as here) when an OP is new to the forum, I would ask that we are all as helpful as possible. The main point of a forum such as this is that we can either help each other with knowledge or experience or engage in reasoned debate.

What is tolerance? It is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error;Let us pardon reciprocally each other's folly. That is the first law of nature. Voltaire.

My wife says that I have all the sensitivity of a thirsty hippopotamus charging for water. She's a clever woman but I still think she read that somewhere.

Apparently charging hippos kill more people than lions...

Definitly a case for the white coats.

".....a thirsty hippopotamus charging for water."

Mrs Dumbo should try tap water - it's free of charge apart from water rates.
