Audi Dealer - Will haggling be successful? - BobL

I am looking at an Audi A3 2 litre diesel 56 plate (Jan2007) at the main dealers. It is priced around the £12.5k mark. Has anyone any recent experience of trying to negotiate some cash off the price at the AUDI Main dealers. I do not necassarily have to trade in my current car (may get more private anyway) About 3 years ago I was looking at buying another car and was only offered a couple of hundred quid reduction off the screen price from Audi dealer but times may have changed

I looked at an A4 convertible recently at a main dealer, sticker price was in excess of 25K. When an enquiry was made about discount, I was told it would "be in the 100's not 1000's."
