vauxhall corsa 2001 - help!! - doughnut1

can any1 help?

im fitting a new stereo in my car 2001 corsa and it seemed pretty straight forward plugging the 2 wiring plugs together,it worked great till i opened the door and a buzzer noise started and the central locking wont work with the new stereo,??when i put old stereo back in everything works ok?if any1 knows what the problem is id be grateful thanks,,

its awkaward to explain this but you need a little jiggery pokery . There should be 2 wires which need connecting the right way. on the standard block there fine for the vauxhall radios but not other makes. happens a lot this on vauxhalls, as you will find that the radios memory of saving your stations or cd tracks wont work either. ill have a look at mine and try to see what colours the wires are in mine later on., if somebody with better knowledge dosent post first., it shoudl be 1 or 2 wires which are seperate to the blocks with the singular fitments on. they need switching around.
