Mitsubishi Shogun - Stalls when cold - noisytappets
Helo..can anyone tell me if there is anything i should really look out for with a 3.5 im going to look at.
100.000 miles, fsh. I know it stalls when pulling away if engine not warm then fine when warmed up. The last thing i want to do is a head gasket kit on one of these so im hoping its a minor common fault that someone may be aware of. Thanks for any replies

I hope its very very cheap ,stalls when cold and noisy tappets you are looking at a top end rebuild if you do it yourself you will be in the hundreds if Mitzy do it then it will be in thousands.Stay away there are plenty of good motors about.

Hello...the noisy tappets is just my forum name from an older car. I dont know if engine is noisy.If its just the auto choke no problem but its not worth the gamble i think
