after getting through it's MOT i was advised by the mechanic that my aerodeck was going to need the Catalytic Converter replaced. I asked how much it would be and he quoted about £500 (£350+VAT for the part and rest for labour) high cost because the converter is part of the exhaust manifold and the whole lot needs to get replaced. After googling for converters most of the ones i found are around £80. Could i not just buy one of these and get someone to fit it???
