I've searched the net for ages looking for an answer to this, and everywhere I look they say take note of the orientation before you remove the bushes and that the orientation is very important. Well, the bushes were so knackered that I couldn't see that they were directional, it was only when I bought the new ones that I noticed the arrow on them. I've even tried to see which way round they are on parked cars (which does get a few funny looks), but the bushes are hidden behind the 'cheeks' they are fitted to. I think I'm going to have to take a punt on this and fit them arrow pointing forward and visible from the outside.

Tried the ford website, but not useful unless you want to buy a new car.

I bought the bushes from Febi via a motor factor, so I wrote to them for advice. They were brilliant! They sent me a pdf (albeit in German) which showed the orientation perfectly.
