Citroen C5 2.2 hdi year 2001 - air conditioning - rvilogib

The air conditioning has seperate temperature settings for the drivers side and the passengers side. When set at the low temps. (both sides) cold air blows on the drivers side but hot air blows on the passenger side. Any help/advice before I approach a garage would be helpful.
