Hello there, Looks like my garrot turbo on my VW Bora 1.9 pd tdi 130 hp is sticking... Can anyone tell me does it worth to give a try to reconditioning with a specialist? Vag Com shown sometimes it sticks sometimes does not.. Thank you in advance

I just stripped the old turbo from a friend's Passat, bearings, piston-ring seals etc were all as new, but the vanes, which on Garretts are supposed to pivot to give the correct turbo matching at different engine speeds were coked up. Unless the engine is operated at full power occasionally, the vanes don't move through their full range so carbon can build up and cause them to stick.

A specialist may well be able to clean your turbo, Google will find you one in your area I'm sure.
