Vauxhall Vectra B - VECTRA 1.6 HELP - Ged Mc

Hi new to this forum I was wondering if anyone else had had this problem. Ive got a Vectra 1.6 went to my garage done a diagnostics found coil cylinder 3 misfire so i got a new coil pack engine management light goes out then runs a few days light came back on goes back to garage new pack same problem again been back 5 times with the same problem and now they have ran out of Ideas could anybody help or have any ideas cheers

Do you reset the fault codes?

Yes the fault codes are reset management light goes out then it runs great for a few days then the light comes back on and seems to lose power and shakes a little

year would help and a fault description and the code, are these genuine coil packs ie dealer coil pack or after market and what plugs are fitted (make) and when were they last changed,Regards TB

The year is2001 and the code is 300 but I am not to sure but it read on the diagnostic screen cylinder 3 misfire I will have to check the plugs Cheers TB

TB,I'm thinking Yellow/Brown earth going into Airflow meter being a problem on these 1600's-Splice a new earth into said yellow/Brown wire ? Or am I miles out ?

not causeing a misfire, but possible earth issue with ecu, but still gathering info at moment !!!!!, or possible p*** poor dis pack,Regards TB

I have this this problem a few times before on vectra's petrols and each time it turned

out to be a ecu problem each time i cured it by fitting a s/hand ecu unit +immobilizer +key

from Mc mullans £80 for complete kit no coding plug and play mc mullans vaux hall
