DEAUVILLE 650CC (2005) - Motorcycle erratic idling - Gregory II

Hi

I have a deauville 650, and it idling is erratic. What should be my first checks, and how are they performed.

It idles only slightly erratically, perhaps 100-200 rpm difference. Would carb cleaning help for example?

I would say the carbs probably need balancing, which requires vacuum gauges.

Check for air leaks first.

As above, also check the airfilter is clean, spark plugs are fresh and gapped correctly etc
