I saw a German heavy lorry today with EU safety logos on the back. The curtain under the rear had the blue and white arrow direction sign on the nearside and the red and white no-entry sign on the offside. That reminds me of the joke signs from the 60s, Overtaker on the right and Undertaker on the left.
