Vaxhaull Vivaro - Vivaro Power Loss - richb65

Hi every one and hoping you might be able to help !!!!

I have a 54 plate 1.9CDTI Vivaro with 134K on the clock.

I have to admit I let the last service interval slip by 50K (was getting round to it)

I was kind of forced into spending on it as the exhaust mainfold cracked. Had that sorted out no problem.

I then had it serviced by a local garage. He changed the oil (though the filter doesn't look new) Also fuel filter, air filter.

Picked it up drove it home on side roads no problem, felt great!!!

Jumped on the motorway next morning, got to about 3000rpm then glow/mangement light came on and van lost power.

A quick flick of the key reset it.

Took it to a local dealer who said it was the boost pressure solenoid.

This was changed along with the EGR valve, MAP sensor and Air Mass meter (This was not an OEM part !)

Also repaired damaged wires going to injectors.

No swarf in the fuel filter bowl and perfect seal on this.

Had it put on a Snap-On Versus scanner that came up with

"1815 Inlet / Boost Pressure Circuit"

"1826 Pre Heat Plug Circuit"

I now the glow plugs is no that important as it starts no problem.

Anyone any idea's, this is driving me potty....A few people have suggested Crank Sensor

Please help if you can

Cheers

Richard
