car intermittantly cuts out for a sec or two when on a roundabout. has anyone any ideas?

Try replacing the 'Idle Control Valve'. This worked on mine and can be bought easily from a ford dealer and fitted yourself.

IIRC there is a wiring mod... to solve this issue..
