Rubbish A34 - veryoldbear

Coming up from Southampton today. Why is there so much rubbish along the A34 ?

You should see the rubbish everywhere southbound between Newbury and winchester - unbelievable, must be amongst the worst in the country.

because its seen as acceptable to chuck stuff out of car windows these days rather than have the decency to take it home and put it in the bin?! ;-)

Thats down to the people that use it... no doubt there are other roads that are as bad, though I don't know of any that I use... could it be that its the raod used by many left hookers coming aways from the ports??

I think a lot of it is foreign lorry drivers. There is a wide and quiet road near me, that recently has become an illegal night stop for them, and in the morning it looks like a gypsy site.
