I agree with GordonBennett. I would rather buy a car with a worn out set of Michelin's, Continental's etc (and pay £200 less) than with new cheapo tyres. I would likely remove any cheapo tyres and replace with a pukka make.
I am currently looking for a car and have walked away from an otherwise decent looking car because it had 4 odd tyres (and only 14k miles by the way) - there were also questions about the service history, but it is all a part of the story that the car tells, and I need to follow my "bladder feeling"!
Why spend more money on a car you are selling? Are you not sort of pouring "good money after bad"?
