I just put as deposit on an '07 530i M Sport and want to make sure I know what I should be getting in the options.
There something called a Media Package included as an additional option, but I can't seem to find what it is exactly.. anyone know of there is a site that shows the options and what they actually are?

Haha! If you think the BMW site is bad (it is, i totally agree!), try spec'ing yourself a skoda on the skoda website!!!
You need a wee bit more info to know what you're getting, there are 2 media packages, business or professional. Business does everything you need, professional does everything you want :-)
Very nice car, congrats :-)
p.s. get the supplying dealer to re-code any features you want before you leave the premises with it (e.g. follow me home lights, matching each key to different driver settings, central locking behaviour etc. - they have a paper sheet with the options to choose from...) otherwise they'll want 80 notes for the pleasure. And with this year of car, you can't just buy a £50 adapter off ebay to recode it all...

Thanks mate :)
I bet they don't even know if it's Pro or Business :D I just don't like the idea of collecting the car and not being able to double check all itmes are in/working - I've had BMW try to wriggle out of supplying incomplete options before...
Thanks for the tip on the recode :)

A diagnostic scan on the workshop computer will confirm all toys are operational. Get the salesman to get this done for you (if you speak direct to service dept they're going to charge).
The car's various control units monitor everything from sticking electric windows to blown fog light bulbs. Case in point -- mine logged a fault for a sticking passenger headrest (electrically height adjustable).

I had an '05 535d Touring with the Media package; IIRC it included Professional Navigation (the 3D Map version), Bluetooth and a CD Changer.
