Hi does anyone no the tappet clearance for my astra van, its got the 1700cc diesel isuzu engine in ti the is shimmed, many thanks

as you have failed to give the engine code i will assume that this is a y17dt so settings are
Intake valves
0.35 ? 0.45 mm.
Exhaust valves
0.35 ? 0.45 mm
if this is not your engine code then please post and i will check again,Regards TB

Hi i have checked the log book and all it states is a 1700 dti if that helps

no not at all, the v5 should state the engine number, all you are posting is the cc,thes valve clearnces are crittical and a pain to do so you need it right first time, Regards TB

inlet 0.35-045mm
exhust 035-045mm
thats for the y17dt and they17 dtl
