99 1.4 Front windscreen repair - Rajini

Please anyone has any idea about the cost of front windscreen repair/replacement. I have VW polo - V reg. If yes, where can I get it done cheaply. I am thinking of changing the car, as it gives recurrent problems one after other.

last one i paid $85 all in
obviously depends where you live but you need to look through yellow pages that blue telephone book and in the autotrader (other periodicals are available but the print comes off too easy) for an independant man and van windscreen fitter that tired of working for the big boys but is good to boot (but not your windscreenas they are delicate)
even cheaper alternative is do it yourself
cheese wire for the job is £12
a s/h windscreen you cut out yourself £20
stick of windscreen glue £10
only takes an hour to cut out and refit a new one
