Hi,
Friend's Mazda 323 blower speed selction control only works on setting '4' (maximum) Positions 1 (minimum), 2 and 3 don't work.
We've considered the fuse but as it still works on one selection it's unlkely to be that. Possibly a lose connection?
Any ideas welcome :-)
Thanks.

I would consider the fan speed resistor to be at fault. It is situated behind the glove box in the air/blower motor ducting. If I recall ,a new unit is around £30 from dealers.hth

On 99% of cars where the blower speed only works on the fastest setting means the resistor pack has failed. It uses resistors to restict the speeds of the 1st three speeds, but bypasses it for the highest speed.

Thanks Guys for the very quick responses. I'll pass this information on.
