I'm struggling to get new rear wipers for my W-reg (Japanese made) Yaris. Lots of places sell them for the newer versions (French made) but no-one seems to stock them for the older one, expect the local dealer who wants £££ for one. Any advice where I can buy one, or am I stuck paying dealer price?

Just checked there. Despite putting in that it is a 00W reg car the only option for rear wipers is the type to fit the (later) French-made car.
I wonder just what the difference is?

Have a look on the site for replacement blades, but you must measure the original blade first and look at the diagrams.
You will find the correct blade, I have bought some for my tractors!

I'm not sure it's that simple. I've been told by a car spares place that I need a complete head as the blade is a different profile to the standard replacement ones. He did try and find a match in his stock and couldn't.

The £6 aero-vu (or whatever they're called -- the fancy wiper blades) out of tescos come with all sorts of fittings you swap in / clip on. Would they not do the trick? They seem to cover every clip mechanism under the sun.

recently bought a rear blade of ebay. 2002 1.4d4d jap it fitted ok .but its not a perfect fit, so i guess its a copy.
