Moggie was a pull. My memory may be flawed the 1960 one I had had a pull to start, I'm sure that the 67 version fired from the key...

My 1956 moggie did too...until I "upgraded" it to an ignition key.

My Jowett has a push button...only active when the ignition is on.
My 1937 Jowett 8HP had a dashboard push button which worked directly on the battery live cable...no solenoid.

None of the bikes I've ever owned had one. When I was more into bikes, the only ones I saw with kill switches were trail bikes and bikes with large engines.
