98 1.6 Put diesel in by mistake. What now? - banter

diesel put into tank by mistake and the car no longer starts, could you please tell me the prceedure to flush the system thanks

Drain tank refill with petrol and crank over it will start a bit rough let it idle it should clear you may want to fit a new fuel filter too.

No.You'll need to siphon or suck it out from supply to engine compartment.

It is a small canister with an inlet and outlet fuel pipe, just in front of the fuel tank under the vehicle.
