Is anyone aware of a softwware update to cure a persistent problem I have with my Xsara HDI 110?

It runs but not well. Almost as if it's in partial limp home mode particularly noticeable below 2,000 rpm when it has liitle torque and 'bogs' down' sometimes when I want to pull out of a junction.

It returns good MPG and occasionally it has a 'good day' and runs much better. The MIL light has come on twice in the past 18 months and the computer interrogated several times and the same fault code reset - boost pressure signal set too high. A replacement boost pressure sensor has done little to effect a cure. I am reluctant to try any other repair becuase no garage I've yet tried seems to have the confidence to fix whatever the fault is.
