Brava leaking water

Brava leaking water - peteH
The carpet in my 1998 Fiat Brava is getting wet (up to a puddle!) in the drivers footwell.

Before I end up ripping the carpet out myself, is this a know problem? or does anyone have any suggestions of where to look to solve the problem?
