My 406 never starts that weel when wet and i've got some damp start left over from my previous car.
With this being a diesel engine i don't know where to spray it for maximum effect, obviously the battery but where else?

How about the leads to the glow plugs?
I doubt spraying the battery is going to do much. Maybe also check the glow plugs are heating up properly (not sure how)

fine in dry do i think they are heating properly.
i just heard that 406's don't like the wet so where else to spray?

Hi Andy - Can't believe that 406's 'don't like the wet'. The same engine is in my Citroen, as well as several other models. You need to look for an electrical or 'air in fuel'problem.
