This afternoon, near Heathrow T4, I saw a number of extremely smart cars with a number plate-less Rolls-Royce in the middle followed by several identical silver people carriers; all accompanied by several police motor-cycles with their blues on.
Who was it ? Where were they going? The Queen has been entertaining the President of India, has she been seeing her off at the VIP centre near T4?
According to the Royal website, the Queen went to Newmarket this afternoon, surely she wouldn't fly there? Do any other members of the Royal Family have cars without number plates?

Probably trying to avoid congestion charge - we all know how hard up they are! :-)
I quite regularly see close convoy driving on the M4, usually noticed it heading westbound, which would probably be Chazzer on his was to his pad (Highgrove?). When his and Di's kids were at the local school for a bit, I once inadvertently got in between their car (William was kneeling up looking out of the back window) and the following car-full of protection squad. I soon realised my mistake...
