Have seen this book ( apparently by an ex - traffic copper, ' the tricks the establishment does not want you to know ' etc ) advertised for years at £20 , including in the D.T Motoring... It has finally pricked my interest , although I have a clean license with no prosecutions pending - anybody got any feedback on it ? may just order it out of curiosity ;

I've read it, it's mostly common sense.

The main trouble is, the old bill have read it as well. Kinda makes it valueless.

Should you be able to get a copy through the local library ?
I'd be interested to read it (it could sit on the shelf along with 'roadcraft', paul ripley and Tom Vanderbilt') but I distrust things that can't be sold without hype
n.b. - Tom Vanderbilt's 'Traffic - why we drive the way we do (and what it says about us)' is out in paperback now - well worth a read

The one I saw was out of date drivel. It floats around the data superhighway regularly if you know where to look.
