I remember seeing a 101 with rust up the vertical line of the rear wheel arches, over the boot and meeting in the middle. The car looked as if it would fall apart. I am sure it did... just pre MOT days iirc...

Pop rivetted new sills on an uncles 101 once. Waste of time as the rest of the chassis was absolutely rotten at 4 yo.
