09 2.0 Engine rating on vin sticker - xtrailman

I have a 173hp xtrail, having had the old 136hp i find towing that i am having to change down more often than i would with my old xtrail.

The new xtrail is slightly higher geared, and 100kg heavier but with 266 lb/ft i feel that it should actually tow better than the old model, i only have 4k on the engine also.

How ever i have noticed that the number under the vin number (on the numerous stickers), says 150, my question could this refer to the 150hp engine option, or does it mean something else?
