Adverts popping up in new window - Graham567

For the past few days i've been getting pop up windows appearing everytime i click on a new topic.The windows are adverts for instant compensation.When i come to close firefox there are dozens of open firefox windows with all these adverts on.I have the popup blocker enabled in firefox but these seem to get past it.
I don't mind adverts to the right of the forum topics but to have to close up to a dozen open windows is not on.
Anyone else had this problem?If its a new policy on HJ then it might put me off coming on this forum.

Try downloading the latest version of Firefox?

Already got 3.5.2 in Firefox.I have found that unticking 'enable java script' in options stops the adverts appearing so i'll use this setting until this is sorted out.

You might want to look at the noscript add-on. Together with adblock plus it leads to a refreshingly irritant free internet experience.
