When I looked up Smartsteer all the info seemed to be about agricultural vehicles.
I would imagine that a disabled driver would be required to be able to fully control the steering of their car, even if it is done through a special control and with power assistance. I don't think the Construction and Use Regulations would permit a the fitting of a device that has an ability to adjust what direction you steer would be allowed.
Where the law stands on the self-parking used on some cars if the car bumps into another one I don't know!!!
