Has anybody seen this new device? Is it easy to use? Who supplies them?

Looks like it's designed for agricultural vehicles operating in large fields and is only designed for use at up to 27 mph.

I believe that it is designed to help disabled drivers control various features on their cars where can i get one?

When I looked up Smartsteer all the info seemed to be about agricultural vehicles.
I would imagine that a disabled driver would be required to be able to fully control the steering of their car, even if it is done through a special control and with power assistance. I don't think the Construction and Use Regulations would permit a the fitting of a device that has an ability to adjust what direction you steer would be allowed.

Where the law stands on the self-parking used on some cars if the car bumps into another one I don't know!!!

LOL - you got me there because of my ambiguous wording, but what I mean is a device that has the ability to automatically adjust the direction of steering independent of the input by the driver.

fantastic, many thanks for your help folks , i had heard about the system but struggled to find any info so this looks like it will do just what is required and it looks so much easier to use than the other kit on the market. Thanks again.

just an update for everyone i have now had the Smartsteer fitted to my new Cayman S by the guys down at Autochair Ltd and it is fantastic so many thanks again.
