The other day i came across an aerosol paint that is supposed to give a finish like polished alloy.
There are a few small blemishes on the XJS wheels that would benefit from something like that, if it works.
I usually buy car touch-up paint in aerosols, spray a bit in the lid and use a tiny brush, but I don't know if that would work for a shiny metallic finish.
Anyone know if this stuff actually does what it says on the tin? It ain't cheap but it's tempting if it's any good.

Thanks for that - maybe I'll give it go. Shame France doesn't have Wilko.
