Cleaning seat fabric - desmrics
Anyone got any tips as to how to shampoo and more importantly dry cloth seat fabric. My seat are a light cloth and can leave a tide mark when cleaned. How do the pros manage to leave the seats so fresh looking?

Oddly enough I've just cleaned the seats of my 8-year old Focus for the first time ever. I used a Vax wet/dry vacuum carpet cleaner, with a little attachment for upholstery, and Vax's own carpet shampoo. It came up a treat. Do it on a sunny day, when the car interior is warm, and it will dry in a few hours by itself. Much, much better than spraying with car interior cleaner and spreading the muck around with a cloth, hoping that most of it ends up on the cloth rather than the seats.

I just get carpet and upholstery cleaner from Morrisons and it works a treat. test a small area first of course for colour fastness.
