Hi, Just bought a 2002 Mini One Automatic and for the life of me i cannot locate the ECU.
Help!!!

If it is the engine Ecu you are looking for ,it sits next to the battery ,in the plastic case.(assuming the battery is under bonnet on this model)hth

Cheers, I will have a look. It is actually to plug in a tool to get rid of that damn airbag light that stays on. Has anyone else used this?

Hold on just a minute.What you are really trying to do is access the airbag system ,not the engine control electronics.The 16 pin diagnostic socket is located in the plastic panel/tray just above the brake pedal.There is usually a plastic cover/flap that hinges down.If your plug in tool manages to read the sytem(doubtful),it will probably identify faults with the seat belt pre-tensioers.hth

A common cause of the airbag warning light is a loose/faulty connector underneath the seat
