04 2.2 engine wont start - rebelracers
Hi Guys , we own a pt petrol , but a friend has a 2.2 deisel , went to start it on drive and it wont go , went to chysler they looked new pump , which they did , still wont go then said we dont know , pump is working fine , still wont go , funny thing is give it a sniff of easy start and it runs for a few seconds , then dies he took it to another garage , 8 weeks later still not running after changeing a couple of sensors , and of course no real manuals to have a look at for deisels either , any help guys would be great he has had it 14 weeks and only driven for 2 does anyone have a diagram of how the system works ie. from ecu to relsay to sensor , pump etc etc

Hi
Any warning lights on like the SKIM light? (the little LED that flashes when the alarm is on) is it on all the time with the ignition on? Are there any fault codes? Has an injector leak back test been done on the injectors? if an injector is not holding it's pressure then the rail pressure will be low so the ECU will not start injection till the pressure is up.
Can't believe Chrysler said don't know, did they not contact technical?
