Which one is better? i10 Es or i10 Comfort? - i10
I am struggle to choose whther I should go for the 1.1 engine ES or the 1.2 Comfort

I like the interior and the outlook for the ES, but the Comfort 1.2 kappa engine and extra spec for £300 more seems really tempting..........

I would like any opinion from anyone between the two models......

Have you seen HJ's car-by-car breakdown entry:

I would say 3 seconds off the 0-60 is definitely worth having, especially for the same CO2 and mpg.

Yes, I am surely aware of the 3 seconds differences....... and I am sure it works much better in motorways

I am sure the 1.2 engine have a much better preformance than the 1.1 ES

however, the 1.1 ES is a limited edition (i think it only have 1000 units) and I might hold a better residual value? (I am think more about the residual value.... at this monent)

Any suggestion whether the ES could hold a better residual value?

Also worth bearing in mind that the ES has cambelt; the 1.2 engine is the Comfort is a chain - if you intend keeping the car for many years, will save the cost of a cambelt change if you buy the Comfort.

I've just come back from our local dealer after just ordering a 1.2 i10 comfort. I would definately go for the comfort (in fact I just have!). Better engine, £35 VED. Much more desirable than the 1.1

Is this 1.2 'comfort' available as an automatic?

Best regards.........MD

I believe both the 'classic' and 'comfort' are available with autos as an option. Not sure how much and what type of auto box though.

Extras also included on the comfort and NOT on the ES are alloy wheels with locks, front fogs, electric rear windows, electric mirrors and probably one or two other items, as well as the engine i would have thought the 1.2 was the one to go for by some distance. Some manufacturers bill £400 for allow wheels alone. btw all i10s ahave gone up by £105 today (1/7)
