Jaguar mini-convoy - Chicken Vindaloo
Coming back from the Ferrari Owners Club Concours event near Kettering today, SWMBO and I spied a convoy of two XJS's, an E-type and an XK (or whatever the one which looks like a DB-7 is) turning off the A43 towards Deene Park/Kirby Hall. Was the Jag Owners Club having a bash around there or was it a coincidence?

The JEC (Jag enthusiasts club) has 20,000 members who regularly organise local events. I have been involved in 3 this month down in Sussex. I am sure it would have been a local 'do'. There was a big event a few weeks ago in that neck of the woods with some hundreds of Jag's there but I hear rain stopped play.

We did the London to Brighton run with over 300 Jags following the same route (not all in one line sadly, although we were when we parked on the sea front).

I remember at one point we were in a 'sandwich' in our XJ-S between 15 others, E types, XK150's, XJ's, etc. Turned a few heads!

Thanks for the reply Mr Director - I'm sure you're right. Had we not had another thing on in the afternoon, I'd have given chase!

:0)

If you are driving a Ferrari I am not sure who would be jealous of whom!

Not Jag's I saw yesterday, but Subaru's.
I was driving Durham to Accrington via A1(M) and A59.
Long line heading south at 8:15am near Scotch corner/Leeming Bar.
Another line heading esat on A59 at 9am near Harrogate.
A few stragglers near Bolton Abbey. Looked impressive, but no idea where headed.
