hi does a track rod arm come of the steering rack if not how hard is it to get the steering rack out please

ring the local factors up see it they list an arm
if they do order it and then you will see how its attached
elementary as dr watson would say
ps if its only screwed on make sure you locktight it on reassembly

You may be able to get a track rod arm as a part but that does not mean that it is a good idea to try and fit it,especially if your level of experience is such that you do not know where it goes.I know how to overhaul a steering rack but I wouldn't,much simpler,and probably cheaper,to get an exchange unit.What is the problem?Could it be a track rod end that you need?These are easy to replace,with the right tools,get your tracking set after tho..

Changing a rack is not a five minute job, largely because of accessability, you really need to have it on a ramp. The space for the rack to slide out of on the drivers side is smaller than the rack!
