..I'd rather keep my experiences with rubber to myself Oilrag if that's OK ;-O...
If it was rubber, Halmer, you must be about 120. :)
Back to the OP, I'm impressed with the one-piece (more or less) wipers on the CC3.
They clean a treat and don't seem to need much washer fluid to do it.
I imagine I'll be less impressed with the price when it comes to replacement time.

Yes mine on the Roomie are good as well... I've never seen them before, though, are these one-piece ones (without the metal/plastic ribs - they just look like the rubber strip but with no support(!)) a very recent thing?

Bit over the top for shopping...
Anyhow I buy refills due to the cost of the large wipers the XM takes.

Silicon wiper blades ..
[ chemical pedant mode ] let's get the terminology right here: Silicon (an element) is pretty hard, and what they make computer chips from. SiliconE is a class of compounds containing silicon, oxygen, carbon and hydrogen, ranging from oils and greases to hard rubbers. Water doesn't 'wet' any of them.
Don't blame me - I didn't invent the words, probably the Yanks did.
