Did anyone notice the Rover 600 in tonights Ashes to Ashes? Not on the road in 1982.

It's often had some issues with history matters and some language/phraseology has been out of place (time). I smiled occassionally at the very obvious placement in a scene of something from the period but overall thoroughly enjoyed it, even though the over-riding plot was a bit daft.

Didn't notice it, but recorded it so will look again. Where was it?

Thought this series was much better than the last, and good ending last night that obviously leaves the door open for another. Most unbelievable bit was in one of the earlier episodes when 'the Quattro' was having trouble keeping up with crim in a Princess.

Ah yes - well spotted! On the left hand side of the screen as the transit pulls out of the gates and Alex and colleague drive in (in a nice looking Granada). You can see it on iPlayer at 42:49, and can almost see the whole reg, ?X30 VVN where X is 6 I think:

SWMBO is hooked on Robin Hood. Old English, or what?

I take it that the Rover in Robin Hood is Olde English with leather and wood interior.... ;)

Talking of Robin Hood, in an epesode of this I laughed to see a couple of white vans travelling along a road in the distance.

Heartbeat has some historical anomalies too.
