Ford Focus (1998 - 2004) - 2003 1.6 Creaking When Turning Right

2003 1.6 Creaking When Turning Right - takuhii
I have a strange Creaking noise coming from the car when I turn right. I am think the rear suspension, but does anyone else have any experience of this??

The car is a '53 Plate Ford Focus Mark I.

I have the exact same problem with my Peugeot 206 '51 plate HDI. But, the noise on mine is on the front and after a couple of weeks it has started on both sides and is becoming increasingly louder. I am planning to take it to a garage today and if I find out more about it I'll try and let you know what the problem was. My friend told me it could be the brakes or something. Well I'll let you know later if I can.

Sounds like suspension drop links to me. Had the same problem on ours. These arn't expensive and should only cost about £100 to do both sides - all in.

I'll get it checked out, thanks Robert. Was hoping it might be something I could do myself, don't wanna mess with suspension unless it's something easy though :(
