Do dealers pricematch fiatsupasaver site? - scott_lewis
Hi All

Missus is interested in a Fiat panda 1.2 ECo and fiatsupersaver sites seems to offer the best price.

I though was wondering if anyone has any experience of them adn whether fiat dealers will price match them?

Its worth a try. My local one couldn't match it (was for a Bravo) but got quite close so with the trade in and ease we took them up on the offer. I had contacted Fiatsupasaver but they appeared to be quite suspicious of me for some reason. I emailed them the query and the first line said something like possible dealer??

I've never used fiatsupasaver but have read mixed reports on www.fiatforum.com/panda-new/
The last time I bought a Panda I got a great discount from Perrys through the web, then sold my previous car for £500 more than the offered trade-in. However, Perrys are no longer as competitive as they used to be.
Local dealers vary a great deal. Some will respond to fiatsupasaver prices, some will just laugh in your face.
Whether you have a trade-in makes a big difference as fiatsupasaver don't do trade-ins. The government scrappage deal has also completely distorted the market as buyers of cheaper cars often have a trade-in that complies with this scheme.
All you can do is to visit your local dealer and ask if they can match the fiatsupasaver price. If you have a trade-in, then you need to see what is offered on it and whether you could sell it privately for much more. If you're lucky enough to have a good few local Fiat dealers then go round them all.
Whichever deal you make, I can assure you that you will end up with a car with great reliability, low running costs and a very relaxing and easy drive.

I bought a New 1.3 MJ Panda ( but 2008 MY) from a local dealer in Jan 2009 at marginally less than the FSS price. Be aware that some of the FSS prices are for prereg examples.
